What was your first REVFIT experience like?
I came to my first REVFIT session in November of 2021. I've been a member at REV for about 3 years now. I came in and my first session was a Wednesday, so it's a full body HIIT. Definitely didn't know what I was getting myself into in that first class. It drained me, but I felt great afterwards. I knew immediately this is where I wanted to make my new gym home.
What have your results been at REVFIT?
This past year I really took control of my weight loss journey, my fitness, my health. I did this for me, for my family. I made it a priority and I’ve seen some really great results.
In just the last year, I've lost 40 pounds of fat and gained 10 pounds of muscle. That's about 15% body fat loss and couldn't have done that without REVFIT.
What are your two favorite things about REVFIT?
My two favorite things about REVFIT are that first, it takes the guesswork out of fitness. You don't have to worry about putting together what type of lift you're going to do that day at the gym. You just come into your program built out for you already for the week, for the month and the quarters for the year.
And then really the community of it. We talk about it being a dark room where you check out and do your own thing. But outside of the room too, like in the lobby or just at our events, you get a real opportunity to hang out, make some good friends with the rest of the members here. This is probably one of the top tier things here at REVFIT.
What are the trainers like?
REVFIT trainers are probably some of the most hands-on trainers that I've seen in a group fitness environment. I've done personal training as well. The trainers that we have here in this workout room are on top of you more in a group environment than my personal trainer was just in the gym, just one on one. I think from that standpoint, the personal training experience you get here at REVFIT is going to be better than what you find sometimes one on one at a box.
What would you say to someone who is thinking about trying REVFIT?
I would say to just jump in...just trust the trainers that are in the room…trust the people that are around you. Give REVFIT a shot.

Hi, my name is Chelsy, and I’ve been a REVFIT member for almost two years. Before joining, I worked out at traditional gyms, doing strength training on my own. I never thought group fitness would be challenging enough for me—until I tried REVFIT.

I have to admit, my first session was a little chaotic because I showed up late. I wasn’t sure where to go, so I just grabbed a tile and sat down randomly. The trainer at the time, Angelica, jumped right in and got me started.

Recovering from Injury & Getting Stronger
I developed an ankle and foot injury from running and training, which required physical therapy. I was nervous about how it would affect my workouts, but REVFIT actually helped my recovery.

Hi, my name is Lily, and I’ve been a REVFIT member for two and a half years. I first discovered REVFIT during my clinical rotations for physical therapy school—I drove past it every day and was looking for a place to get back into a workout routine. My First REVFIT Session

Why REVFIT?
For me, it's the consistency. At REVFIT I have my 55 minutes that I dedicate to myself in that room, week after week I know the experience I'm gonna get here is gonna be fantastic. The trainers are amazing. It's the time for me at REVFIT that I can just dedicate week after week after week, and I know the experience I'm going to get here is going to be better than anywhere else I can find.
How does REVFIT help you in your life outside the gym?
I have a clinic day that's very difficult for me. It's a long day, and if I don't start my day here at REVFIT at 5:15 in the morning, then I'm gonna be off for he rest of the day. It puts me in a better mood. I'm more energetic. I'm more active. And that overall in my own clinic means I'm a better leader and a better physician for my patients if I can get here in the morning.
How has REVFIT changed your approach to fitness?
For me, I used to be a big runner, there was another group fitness class that I used to do a lot of running in. I took a lot of heat for just being too skinny, uh, I've packed on a good amount of muscle here, which has been funny with my friends because I used to never be a muscle person.
I've strengthened my body overall. I used to have back problems from standing all day, but now I don't. My back doesn't hurt anymore somehow by lifting more weights. It's been fantastic.
How do the trainers help you be successful and safe at REVFIT?
I think that the coaches do a fantastic job of giving people options if you have injuries. My left shoulder used to bother me when I got here. What's funny is I do shoulder surgery and I was not activating my shoulder how I should during the workout and I can lift without my shoulder hurting now.
What would you tell your patients about REVFIT workouts?
Listen, I tell my patients, we figured it out hundreds of years ago, right? The rolling rock gathers no moss. It's like if you stop moving, you're going to atrophy
And so REVFIT allows me to just continually stay active. There's so many of my patients, there's so many people in the United States, who after high school they just stopped moving. They...the last time they ran, they have to think about it. The last time they lifted, they were like, well "it might have been college," and now they're in their 40s and things are breaking down.
And that alone, if we can get everybody on the same page in this country to just dedicate a small amount of their time, again, an hour a day to something like this (especially strength training), it makes a tremendous difference in your life.
What's one of your favorite things about REVFIT that's unique?
What's funny is, I recently worked out on vacation in a place that had mirrors, and I forgot what working out what mirrors is like. I think it's extremely important that there's no mirrors at REVFIT: there's just you. It's just dedication to yourself, and it's weird to say, but people need to be a little bit more selfish when it comes to their well-being and their health. And so if you can enter a room and just be selfish for an hour and just take care of yourself, that makes an enormous difference.

Hi, my name is Sara, and I’ve been a REVFIT member for almost three years. I work as a security manager for the Dallas Cowboys, and my job can be pretty demanding.

Hi, my name is Paige, and I've been a REFt member for 2.5 years, and I'm excited to tell you about my story.
What do you do for a living?
I have been a dental hygienist for about 8 years now.
How did you hear about REVFIT?
I had friends tell me about REV and I had started to get into strength training on my own and was looking for some guidance and a little more with strength training.
What were you doing before REVFIT?
Group fitness I would just hop around studio to studio and try something out for a little bit and nothing ever really stuck for me before REVFIT.
What made REVFIT stick for you?
First, I felt like the work I was doing I was seeing results from. I was getting a lot of education on the things that I cared about in fitness. And the community, the whole atmosphere of the gym and everything I was learning just came together and made me love it.
What was your first session like?
My first experience, I felt really comfortable. Going into a new gym can be very intimidating, but everyone helped me along the way. Zac was there to really guide me and teach me, and I think that's what I really valued was just that hands on when I was doing a movement. I knew I was doing it correctly because he was right there to make sure the whole time.
What’s your favorite part of the workout sessions?
So my favorite part about taking a session is really seeing what my body is capable of. I feel like that's another thing REVFIT has brought to my fitness is I didn't realize how strong I could be, how strong I was, and so doing the movements as things progress, it's just cool to see each time what my body is capable of.
What were your goals when joining REVFIT?
Going into REVFIT, I really wanted that more toned look. It's one thing to lose weight and get smaller, but I was looking for some muscle definition. I wanted to find fitness that I loved.
What results have you seen?
I've seen my body fat percent go down and my muscle mass go up, which has also allowed me to be able to enjoy more calories in my food because it's caused my BMR (basal metabolic rate) to go up as well, which is always nice because who doesn't like to eat?
Did anything else change for you after joining REVFIT?
One of the things that I've really noticed is just in my work and my day to day life, I used to struggle with back pain all the time in dental hygiene. During my lunch breaks, I would go see a chiropractor because my back hurt so bad from hanging over patients like this all day and whatnot. And so that back pain has completely gone away. I go to work and I feel strong and my core feels strong, my back feels strong while I'm seeing my patients all day.
What are the trainers like at REVFIT?
The trainers at REVFIT just bring such great energy. They inspire you, they make you laugh, but then they also are just educating you so much. You feel so supported and guided in all your workouts. They're really hands on, so it helps you form that mind muscle connection and know that you're doing each workout correctly.
What is the community like at REVFIT?
The community at REVFIT is fun. There's nothing better than waking up in the morning and knowing I'm about to go work out with just a fun group of people. We're all there to get better and you form a lot of cool friendships out of it too. I met so many friends through REVFIT that are like my core friends now.
Anything else to add?
REVFIT is about getting strong, and that's mentally and physically. And you feel that energy every workout that you're in.
What would you say to someone who is thinking about trying REVFIT for the first time?
