Tara’s REVFIT Experience

Hi, my name is Tara, and I’ve been a REVFIT member for eight months. I work in retail, managing asset production for ten stores in the metroplex.

I first heard about REVFIT when it opened near my house. A friend tried it out and recommended it to me. Coming from another boutique gym, I decided to give it a shot.

My first experience was interesting—I actually found myself doing more work than required because I wasn’t pushing myself with heavy enough weights. Kevin, one of the trainers, encouraged me to stick with it for six months and see what happened. I took his advice, and I’m so glad I did.

Every month at REVFIT is different and exciting. The trainers challenge me, whether it's by increasing my weights, adjusting my exercises, or pushing me to move in new ways. I love a good challenge, so I embraced it, and it has completely changed my experience.

The Trainers Who Make a Difference

One of the things I appreciate most about REVFIT is the supportive and knowledgeable trainers. I recently injured my shoulder, and they were incredibly accommodating—modifying my workouts, keeping a close eye on me, and ensuring I didn’t push too hard. They had my back throughout my recovery, and that made all the difference.

Each trainer has their own style, which keeps things fresh and fun:

-Howard is a little crazy in the best way—he keeps it exciting.

-Kayla is super engaging and gets everyone involved.

-Max has a cool, even-toned approach that keeps you focused.

The variety in training styles makes every session enjoyable and unique.

The Workout Program That Keeps Me Coming Back

I love the strength training at REVFIT—it’s my favorite part. Cardio? Not so much! But the great thing about the program is that it keeps your body guessing, which leads to real progress.

-Strength stations are my favorite.

-Power stations push me outside my comfort zone.

-Ab stations give just enough of a break while still being a challenge.

-Tempo months aren’t my favorite, but they force me to work differently, which leads to real results.

The constant variety keeps my mind engaged and my body evolving. Whether it’s progressive weight training or new tempo challenges, I can always see and feel the difference in my body.

Real Results That Keep Me Motivated

One of the things I love about REVFIT is the InBody scan, which allows me to track my progress anytime. At my previous gym, scans were a rare, special event—here, I can monitor my results whenever I want.

Even through my injury, I’ve been able to see real muscle progression. There was a period when I had to go lighter, and I noticed a slight setback, but as I got back into my routine, my body bounced back quickly. Seeing my progress in real time keeps me motivated and pushing forward.
